Gulden Leeuw is looking for a captain

We are a family organization, and we have built our dream. The GULDEN LEEUW is a large, sturdy sailing ship, reminiscent of the 1930s with the deck layout of a classic yacht. Together we continuously run the vessel in all aspects. We sail worldwide and have a fascination for sail training, corporate hospitality and education.

Your skills:

• versatile and independent
• hospitable and communicative
• you think the job is done when it is finished
• working in a crew of various nationalities
• dedication for Sail Training

We offer:

• a contract for minimal one year
• travel and expenses compensation
• salary in consultation
• on and off schedule for 4-6 months

Minimum requirements:

Master sailing ship less than 500 GT, unlimited (stcw II/2)
GMDSS General (stcw IV/2)
Proficiency in survival crafts, other then FRB (or willing to go get it)
