EZS offers course ‘Wind Assisted Ship Propulsion’
The Enkhuizen Nautical College is once again running it’s well regarded Wind Assisted Ship Propulsion course 11-19 February 2022.
Wind-assisted ship propulsion (WASP) is the modern version of sailing commercial freight. This green technology may be central to the energy transition for the maritime sector.
Subjects covered include:
– WASP vessel performance
– Weather routing, velocity prediction
– History and future of WASP
– Aero- and hydro dynamics
- Policy and regulations
– Ship building and Ships stability of WASP vessels
The course can be followed live in the class room (limited places available!), or online by following a livestream and participating through Teams.
